CMS Upgrades Tech Stack to Expand into New Markets with Greater Confidence

CMS invests in leading manufacturing quoting software technology Paperless Parts as it seeks to diversify its customer base.

Paperless Parts will help us provide a fast, seamless, modern, and secure buying experience for our existing customers and help us confidently venture into new markets," - Tim Herlihy, CMS President.

Morgan Hill, CACreative Manufacturing Solutions, a leading precision sheet metal fabrication company in the San Francisco Bay Area, is excited to announce its strategic investment in Paperless Parts, an advanced quoting and estimating platform designed for manufacturers. This partnership signifies CMS’s commitment to transforming its quoting process, streamlining operational efficiency, and expanding its customer base across various industries.

With decades of experience, CMS’s 50,000 sq. feet full-service manufacturing facility offers a wide range of solutions, from close-tolerance products to precision frames and assemblies, catering to diverse industries such as medical, telecommunications, agriculture, and aerospace. CMS will leverage Paperless Parts’ innovative capabilities to deliver faster, more accurate quotes to its customers and involve more team members in the estimating process as they scale.

“CMS prioritizes customer service and satisfaction above all else, and our long-standing client relationships are a testament to that commitment,” stated Tim Herlihy, President at CMS. “Paperless Parts will help us provide a fast, seamless, modern, and secure buying experience for our existing customers and help us confidently venture into new markets.”

Paperless Parts’ advanced PEMConnect™ functionality emerged as an ideal solution for CMS, given its expertise in utilizing PEM® Fasteners for complex assemblies. The tool enables real-time pricing and availability information of PEM® Fasteners, contributing to a more accurate quoting process with precise pricing and lead times.

Looking to boost productivity further as they scale, CMS is also investing in an ERP system upgrade to Epicor later this month. With Epicor integrating directly with Paperless Parts, CMS’s quoting data will be further centralized and accessible to reduce manual work and drive faster RFQ response rates, positioning them to maintain a competitive edge.

“We are delighted to join forces with CMS on this transformative journey,” said Jason Ray, Co-Founder & CEO of Paperless Parts. “Their unwavering dedication to quality and customer service perfectly aligns with our platform’s capabilities, and we are excited to witness their inevitable growth and success.”

The onboarding process with Paperless Parts kicked off this month, with completion targeted within 10-12 weeks after that.
